Tomorrow, November 5, Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising will receive a patch for PC (click for details) and the “Skirmish” DLC. The Skirmish DLC will have four new multiplayer maps and two new Fire Team Engagement missions. The patch will also be out tomorrow on 360 but the PS3 won’t get it’s ’til “shortly after.” However, the Skirmish DLC will not be free on consoles, but it will be 100% free for the people smart enough to purchase the game for $20 off the normal console price and know that Operation Flashpoint is meant to be played on PC. The DLC will cost 400 Microsoft Points ($5) and $3.99 on PS3. Ahh I like how they rank the game platforms by price, and they do it correctly! 1st – PC, 2nd – PS3, and 3rd – 360.
